CHRIS BERTISH SOLO WING FOIL MISSION ACROSS THE PACIFIC

We Go To Eleven are proud to be supporting Chris Bertish as he sets sail in voyage to be the first person to solo Wing Foil across the pacific, entirely powered by nature!

Chris is a South African born big wave surfer, waterman, adventurer and motivational speaker. He won the Mavericks Big Wave comp in 2009 and in 2017 he completed the first solo, unsupported stand-up paddle crossing of the Atlantic Ocean, which took a gruelling 93 days.

No stranger to extreme conditions Chris has quite the challenge ahead of him, he will need to complete the equivalent mileage of 2 marathons per day, non-stop for roughly 55 days, which equates to over 2850 miles. As he will be unassisted and alone at sea for an estimated 55 days nutrition is a huge part of the success of this mission. · Highlight what it will take to get to net-zero carbon emissions by 2050

· Raise money to donate to conservation internationals environmental projects

· Run oceans classroom sessions, broadcast to thousands of children around the world

· Collect valuable data for the MBARI and conservation International research into ocean pollution, temperature and acidity levels

· Plant 1000 trees through the worldview climate change park

· Pay for cleft palate surgeries for children in need through operation smile

· Sponsor ocean outreach education programs for children in disadvantaged communities
